Dr Norman Rose received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Brockport. He earned his doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 1982.

While attending the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Rose was an Assistant Clinical teacher in Ophthamology. He also did an externship in Vision Therapy.

Before moving to Escondido, Dr. Rose was part of the medical staff at the Medical Group of Genesee Valley Group Health in Rochester, New York. He started Escondido Premier Eyecare Optometric Center in 1988.
